What is Kybella?
Kybella is the only FDA approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin to improve your profile. 

Where can Kybella be injected?
Kybella is approved and most commonly injected into the fat underneath the chin. It is also commonly used in areas such as the bra bulge, back fat, armpit pooches, lower stomach, and in the fatty folds under the buttocks.

How many vials will I need?
It’s not a one vial fits most situations. At your visit, we can discuss exactly how many vials and treatments you will need for your desired outcome. The number of vials also depends on area(s) treated.

How long does treatment take?
Treatment time usually takes less than 30 minutes, but you will require between 2 and 4 treatments on average. 

When will I see results?
Results can be seen as early as 1 month, but optimal results are seen at 6 months. 

What is the downtime after treatment?
You will likely have swelling, bruising, and possible numbness after treatment. It is usually resolved within a week. Wearing chin strap at night significantly helps to reduce swelling. 

Who is a good candidate for kybella?
Almost anyone who has excess fat under the chin, good skin laxity, and wants to avoid a surgical procedure such as liposuction.
