Apply a patch to cleansed, dry skin. Leave on for 6+ hours (or overnight) and remove. Reapply a new patch if necessary (until skin is renewed).
Salicylic acid (BHA)
Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble exfoliant that’s uniquely able to burrow into your pores to clear dirt and debris from the inside-out. Its industrious, deep-diving skills make it a dermatologist favorite for upending congestion and clarifying texture. Works as hard as you do on a tight deadline.
Hydrocolloid is a material backed by innumerable clinical trials. It creates a moist environment that fully encloses your zit to extract zit goo, pus and debris, and regenerate skin, fast. Hydrocolloid acts as a second layer of skin, tricking the brain into thinking there’s a scab, and as a result, accelerates skin regeneration of the affected area. Hydrocolloid also forms a convenient barrier between your zit and your fingers, or outside stressors, keeping it protected and clean.
Niacinamide (B3) works with the natural substances in your skin to shrink the appearance of redness, and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone. Your skin’s calm, logical, level-headed friend, niacinamide can also help to repair signs of damage.
Australia’s zit-hating export, Tea Tree oil, is a potent ally against breakouts. TT thrives most of all when paired with BHA (like the salicylic in GOO GETTER), and the duo collaborate to repel congestion by antioxidizing and unclogging pores.
A cheerleader for skin renewal, Vitamin C brightens skin and blocks the formation of cell damage. She’s a dermatologist’s favorite that helps to prevent melanin production, which results in the formation of dark spots. Furthermore! Vitamin C also does this super-cool thing where it lightens pigmentation but leaves surrounding skin in its natural glory.
