Balance is bliss. Tulasara, meaning moving
toward balance in Sanskrit, is Aveda’s newest skincare line. Inspired
by the ancient Indian wellness Ayurvedic practice , Tulasara uses an
awakening ritual combined with a highly concentrated targeted
treatment to accelerate skin’s restorative power.
The two-step Tulasara Radiant Awakening Ritual instantly reveals inner
radiance starting with the Tulasara Radiant Facial Dry Brush. Facial
dry brushing is an Ayurvedic tradition that exfoliates skin,
eliminates toxins and helps restore one’s radiant skin. Follows the
one-minute dry brushing with a facial massage using the plant-oil
infused Tulasara Radiant Oleation Oil to nourish the skin.
“A daily ritual of facial dry brushing followed by oil massage
nourishes skin, melts away facial tension and awakens subtle energies
for a radiant complexion,” said Drs. Upadhyay expert in Ayurveda.
In addition to the Radiant Awakening Ritual, the Tulasara line
includes three concentrates that unite Ayurvedic wisdom with advanced
skin care. Use the 97% naturally-derived concentrates daily under
moisturizer morning and night to visibly transform skin.
Firm Concentrate: A blend of Ayurvedic ingredients such as plant
extracts sigesbeckia, almond seed and safflower to lift and firm the
look of the skin and help smooth visible lines and wrinkles. Testing
shows 91 percent of users showed firmer skin with a reduction of fine
lines.
Bright Concentrate: A blend of Ayurvedic ingredients such as licorice
root and molasses help reduce discoloration, even skin tone and
restore radiance. Glucosamine used helps promote cell turnover to
increase skin’s radiance. In testing, 82 percent of users showed
significant improvement in the appearance of skin tone.
Calm Concentrate: A blend of Ayurvedic ingredients such as red
raspberry plant stem cell, algae extract and pomegranate fruit extract
to sooth skin and reduces the look of redness. Testing shows that
after eight weeks the skin’s barrier is strengthened making the skin
more resilient over time.
