Beauty For A Cure

Aveda Breast Cancer Hand Relief

Though some associate the colors black and orange with October, we at Hiatus think Pink. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Hiatus is teaming up with Aveda to help raise money for much needed research on this deadly disease.

Every October Aveda releases a limited-edition hand relief™, then donates a portion of each sale to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) for cruelty-free research. Our October Product of the Month is this year’s Aveda limited-edition hand relief in the Beautifying aroma. The uplifting lavender, bergamot and rosemary aromas combine with an intense moisture therapy that soothes seriously dry hands, sealing in softness through three hand washes.

For every sale Aveda will donate $4 to the non-profit BCRF. Evelyn Lauder founded BCRF in 1993. It is the only national organization strictly dedicated to funding clinical and genetic research on breast cancer at medical institutions across the country. For every dollar spent by BCRF, 91 cents is directed towards breast cancer research and awareness.

Stop by any spa for your hand relief while supplies last and grab a pink ribbon while you are at it.
