Earth Month Print

For the third April in a row, Hiatus is raising money for clean water initiatives through the sale of local artwork. Austin artist Jan Heaton painted Flow, a watercolor inspired by the simplistic beauty and healing properties of water, to benefit the Aveda Earth Month Fund.

“My art is who I am and a mirror of my spirit,” says Jan Heaton. “Flow is a painting from my Quiet series. The series reflects how color in our surrounding environments — particularly nature — influences our personal health and well-being.”

Each April for Earth Month Hiatus raises money for local and global clean water non-profits including the Global Greengrants Fund, the Gulf Restoration Network and the Lower Mississippi River Keeper. Money is raised through the sale of in-spa raffle tickets, Aveda’s Light the Way candle and Jan Heaton’s Earth Month print.

All proceeds of Flow will benefit the Aveda Earth Month Fund. The print is $115 unframed and $275 framed. Jan Heaton herself will number and sign the first 100 prints sold.

This is a rare opportunity for art collectors to purchase a Jan Heaton print and help raise critical funding for important organizations that serve the communities in which we live.

Prints are available in spa and online at artmuse.com/flow. Call the spa for more details, Dallas at 214.352.4111, Austin at 512.362.5777 and Plano at 972.836.0500.
